Southwest Musical Arts Foundation is seeking donations to help fund a CD release of collaborative recordings from blues piano legend Henry Gray and award winning harmonica player Bob Corritore. This album will contain tracks culled from numerous sessions recorded from the early 1990s through the early 2000s. Included in these sessions are other blues notables: Robert Lockwood, Jr. John Brim, Willie “Big Eyes” Smith, Bob Margolin, Chico Chism and many more.
On January 19th, 2015 Henry Gray will turn 90 years old, and we hope to release this album in the early part of next year. This will be a laborious task, as many years of sessions will need to be reviewed and prepared for release. We are asking those who believe in this project to make a donation of any size. We will provide an advance CD to all donators of $15 or more. Each dollar donated will go towards the studio time needed to prepare this album for release. Thank you in advance for your generosity in helping this beautiful project see completion.
